Family Crest Mug

The Design:
Our family symbol is for anyone in the family who wants to feel a sense of family pride, and have a tangible and very visible way of showing family unity & achievement.
This Coat of Arms symbol commemorates our founder and generates stories of sacrifice, pride and inspiration that can be passed on.

Coat of Arms Symbols Description:
This is the crest of House Artemio, the Pasibe Family, United States.
The Trident rising out of the sea symbolizes his service in the US Navy. Getting an enlistment into the US Navy as a Philippine National was difficult, but he persevered and was accepted. His audacity and desire to give his family a better future was his top priority.

The Red Chevron represents a family rooted in military service.
His sons and siblings followed his example and served in the US Armed Forces. Our service to this nation is gratitude to a great nation that welcomed my family with open arms and gave us a new home and brighter future.

The Sun symbol is the sun from the flag of the Philippines, the origin of our ancestors.

The Mermaid is the mascot of the city of Norfolk, Virginia. This is the city the Pasibe family first settled in the United States.
The symbol on the mermaid's shield is the letter P from an ancient Baybayin script used by our ancestors. The women in our family are warriors, much like the mermaid warrior.

Finally the motto, "Live Boldly".
Artemio Pasibe lived this motto. He risked much in his efforts to get his family to the land of opportunity and instilled the sense of boldness and adventure in all of us. He lived audacious and fearless and was highly respected by every member of his family.

This family symbol is to serve as a dedication to the man who delivered all of us from a life of poverty to the United States, and a reminder of his sacrifices. This Coat of Arms is a symbol for his present and future descendants to call their own.
